Golden Spike National Historical Park
Our last stop on the way back to Salt Lake City was the Golden Spike monument. Got to see the Jupiter and the 119 steam into position in get up close. The volunteer reenactors were very friendly and knowledgeable. A great stop ahead of 5th grade studies around Westward Expansion and the Transcontinental Railroad.
