Los Flemings

 Time to see what Sam and the 4th graders have been up to so far this year. Lots of interesting projects around their work on exploring other cultures and their camping trip near and visit to Cherokee, NC.




Another big part of their work so far has been a study of birds. The bird banding field trip inspired some students to poetry - here is Sam's:


Hawk

Diving to a songbird,
I am almost on bird
heading to the sky,
I am Fierce not shy
Little Birds are yummy,
when there (sic) in my tummy.
