progress report
Went in for the latest ultrasound and doctor check-up for the twins last Friday and everything is progressing nicely. Both boys are close to 3 3/4 lbs. each and are about a week ahead on the growth chart (i.e. two more healthy eaters on the way). Since they are squeezed in pretty tight it was a little harder to see them clearly this time so it wasn't quite as gripping for Sam as the previous ultrasound. He made it through the measurements for Baby A and was ready for a new activity by the time the tech got around to Baby B.
This afternoon, Sam and I went to the hospital for the "I'm going to be a big brother/sister" class. There was a story, some model fetuses to track development and the opportunity to practice holding a doll. The teacher charged each child with being the germ cop when their sibling(s) arrive. So be prepared for Sam to ask you to wash your hands. He was fascinated with the whole class and at the end they had kites to color for your future arrivals and he was proud to share them with Mame when we got home.
