Lowry Park Zoo
I got behind on the blog back in December with travels and the holiday excitement. So here's the start of a quick look back at some of our December adventures.As soon as Mame was done with classes we were packed up and headed south to Florida.
Our first stop was Winter Haven for a visit to Sam's great-grandmother Dotti Ross (aka Nanna Banana). From there we made a day trip over to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. We had a blast courtesy of complimentary tickets from Dandy. We fed lorikeets and giraffes, rode a camel, saw the raptor show and in the afternoon cooled off in the shade while Sam ran around in the water play area.
