Ford the snow expert

The big 2nd grade expedition of the spring is All About the Weather. The culminating project is a weather 'forecast' with the kids in small groups talking about weather phenomena they have researched. Ford's group studied snow and blizzards and start at about the 2:45 mark.

Farewell old friend



One last hug after nearly 200,000 miles, 14 years, 3 nearly cross country trips, 1 international border crossing, 1 trip home with twins from the hospital and countless camping and boating adventures across the southeast, the old grey van came to the end of her road earlier this month. 
A big thank you do Dandy and Granddaddy Frank for cutting us a deal on the next iteration in the Fleming Family Adventure Vehicle.
