Los Flemings

PFD as in Personal First Descent, on the Swannanoa right here in town. We've been contemplating it for awhile now and with this week's rain, she was ready to do some exploring. The boys and I put her on below the bridge to the Nature Center and she went a little over 5 miles to the confluence with the French Broad.

It was a beautiful day to be on the river and she saw lots of bird life.

They immediately sought out the tallest point on the play structure.

Saturday was the final regular season home basketball game for the UNCA Bulldogs and their last in the old Justice Center. The new arena is being built next door. Sam & dad made it over on a sunny afternoon to watch as the Bulldogs cruised to victory over the Radford Highlanders.
