Los Flemings

With five bodies to transport in the Los Flemings-mobile, adding in all the camping gear was a bit of a challenge. In May we decided to expand the rig and purchased a used pop-up camper but given the busy end of the school year schedule we weren't able to go camping until this weekend.

Friday we hitched up the rig and drove across the mountains into north Georgia for a pleasant weekend at Vogel State Park.

We've got some fine tuning to do in order to get our new system ironed out but it was better than sleeping in a leaky tent.

Ford, the co-pilot, says to Sam, the pilot, "let me have the controls!"

Sam finished up another session of afternoon art classes today with Ms. Martha (here she is with the artist himself). He came home with a nifty 'accordion book' on the rain cycle.
