One step closer
Mame received her certificate from the Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia yesterday! She is now officially a Graduate Registered Nurse Anesthetist. The ceremony was held at the Longview Center in Raleigh, went very smoothly and included a very nice speech by Mame herself on behalf of the class of 2008. Her theme was gratitude to the friends and families of all the students.
For the crowd that made the trip for the ceremony we had a nice afternoon relaxing by the hotel pool and then a celebratory dinner at Humble Pie.
Now it's time to head home to Asheville and get ready for Sam's first day of school on Wednesday. Mame will dive into preparing for the last big step in the process, her board certification exam.
(in the meantime we're still fighting to get our Internet connection up and running at the house so apologies for the sporadic postings)
