Jr. Naturalist

Spring time has caught Sam's fancy out of doors. He's been finding lots of things to explore. We've had a good number of inch worms that he calls 'interesting worms' and a small crop of blackberries in a couple of places around the yard. Every time we come home he dashes from corner to corner checking for ones that are ripe enough to eat. And this morning we caught a green anole (not this one pictured) on our porch in order to set him free. Sam thought it was pretty cool when the lizard opened his mouth. And he was glad that the anole would be outside where he could find some food.

Springtime parade

Last weekend we got to go to the parade and the circus - all in one day. Here's Sam and Mame scampering for candy.

Sam's first piece of chewing gum.
