Sam's spring break

The last hurrah of Sam's spring break was the Pioneer Breakfast at the Tallahassee Museum. Special thanks to Grandma Maxine for all of her help having fun with the dude.

On the animal trail at the Tallahassee Museum.

Florida Caverns camping

Traveled west this weekend for camping with the Hattaways at Fla. Caverns State Park.

Sam and Francesca enjoyed all the flowers that were in bloom, exploring the caves, canoeing on the Chipola, cooking over the campfire and digging in the sand.

random things kids think of...

Sam found a screw in our yard the other day and decided he should save it in his little plastic bug box. Then he got inside and decided that the bug box needed to be filled with water. Now it is sitting on a table next to Nemo the Beta fish.

Last week Sam 'graduated' to a big kid swing. The next challenge is learning to pump his legs and become a self-swinger rather than parent propelled.

Sam informed us that this work of art he created at school was inspired by 'Andy Warthog'.

Today Georgia O'Keefe visited his art class.

The Leaf Diver

Cheap thrills on Saturday afternoon.

Last Wednesday was 'Donuts with Dads and Grandads' at Sam's preschool. They had a big crowd.

We did our share of damage to the donuts and then got a front row seat for Goodmorning Time with Mr. Roger. I had the 'Superhero' song stuck in my head the rest of the week. (Superman, Superman, I wanna fly like Superman....)

In the name of equal opportunity moms and grandmoms will get muffins in May.
