Sam's school had a pajama and pancake breakfast on 18 January. He seemed to think it was a pancake eating contest and was the last kid to leave the table.

Weekend fun


Sunday afternoon we caught up with our friends Chip and Heather for Stephen Foster Day at the Folk Center on the banks of the Suwannee. On the way home to Tallahassee they invited us to stop for dinner at their house in Madison. Sam shared a table with their daughter Elena. Notice anything funny about the serving sizes?

Sam's new school

After driving around most of the greater Raleigh area and some of Cary we think we've found Sam's next school in Heartwood Montessori School in Cary. We visited 8 schools in 4 days and this one feels like the best fit. The next challenge is finding a place to live.
